Alexander’s latest Bakeshop Mystery, set in bucolic Ashland, Oregon, is a pitch perfect cozy, full of baked goods, amazing savories, a town full of eccentric characters and a complicated mystery that kept me guessing until the end. When a controversial director is murdered with a stage prop just before the cast party for a visiting performance of the Broadway classic Perfect Crime, Jules and her talented team at Torte add sleuthing to their repertoire. THE WHISKING HOUR is a very satisfying mystery that’s perfect for fans of the genre.
